Yale University Online Intro to Psychology Program - July 2024
I completed an introductory course in psychology, where I explored foundational theories and gained insight into the work of key figures, including Wilhelm Wundt and other influential psychologists who helped shape the field. I studied the basics of brain function, delving into the process of neuron firing, the structure of brain anatomy, and their roles in cognitive and emotional development. Additionally, I examined how these physiological factors influence psychological growth, with a particular focus on their impact during critical stages of youth development.
Stanford Medical School Introduction to Healthcare - July 2024
I developed a solid understanding of the U.S. healthcare insurance system, exploring its structure, the roles and responsibilities of key players, and the different types of intermediaries involved. I also studied the various levels of healthcare practices and how they function within the larger system. Additionally, I analyzed major challenges within healthcare, including issues related to access to care, the impact of lack of insurance, and how healthcare spending is allocated as part of the GDP.
EHL Summer Program - July 2023
I actively participated in addressing real-world business challenges, engaging in problem-solving scenarios that required both critical thinking and practical application of concepts. This experience provided me with a solid introduction to the hospitality industry, where I explored its foundational principles and the essential role of strong leadership. I learned how effective leadership can shape team performance, influence organizational culture, and enhance customer satisfaction, all of which are critical to success in the hospitality sector.
